Text Messages from Butler County REC
Occasionally Butler County REC will send text messages regarding power outages:
- When you sign up as a Butler County REC member and provide your mobile number, you will receive text messages (SMS/MMS) to your mobile number regarding power outages.
- You are able to opt-out of this service at any time by replying "STOP." After you reply "STOP" to us, we may send you an SMS reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. You will then no longer receive SMS messages from Butler County REC. If you want to resume receiving our text messages, text "START" to the number you first received text messages from when Butler County REC began texting you. We will then resume sending you text messages.
